Meeting my exciting Word of Mouth Marketing team second time this month.

It was full of energy as always. I thought of appearing a lil bit different this time with one out of  ten 3 STEP #latifabyMadeenda style ;P

Meeting today I learned that:

1. Always think of others and how I can benefit them. Be critical and creative setting the right mode of mind in the morning and do something for others. In RWM case, think of a member that I will talk about to my network.

2. Give out testimonials of my fellow RWM member's service or product and build a strong ones, since I get to know them personally and we do regards each other humanly not digitally, and so, we are confident and value each other businesses and so my network should be able to be given the opportunity to use their service or products too. (And because I tell you so too (**) )

3. Ask others what I can do for them. What they need. Yes not what I want them to do for me. The practise of gratitude and always to do for others as what we practise as Muslim too is a great self reflections and reminder for me. I love the positive energy that's transmitted.

And that's some sharing for now! It's a wonderful, wonderful journey for me. So much I have learnt in my 2 terms with Rootwommers and looking forward for more terms to come.

Sisterhood Alliance

It's officially launched!

Sisterhood Alliance is an NGO body that works for alleviation of girls & women's problems in general through awareness campaigns. 

We strive to provide solutions to problems encompassing this group of community. As much as it is important to know what the problems is, we shall tackle it from the root cause and build the possible solutions around it. 

Very much adapting the social business concept, we aim to make this materialised by associating this concept into all projects.

We get to built trust worthy friendship within our sphere

Monthly get together and a productive ones of course. We get our members to share their expertise and equip us with valuables knowledge. This week we got the tax expert to share some insights on how it works.

Adding to the 2 of us, is Zam (why only half the face laa ). Now she has become my confidant in business. We face some similar challenges and we get to just burst it out to each other. That so needed when you are a solopreneur. And Zam has this brilliant product call #mymakbidan which is so wonderful you get all the basic and needed post natal treatment in a package at a very affordable price. Ain't that wonderful!

Coming project

Had the privileged to meet such passionate and impressive entrepreneurs. All are dedicated in their own rights.

Another collaborating effort initiated by the Master Mind, Burhanuddin Yusof. With the right frame of mind and admirable intentions, we hope this event will be the turning point for more positive changes to happen in the future.

Now, we need to know.

1. Anyone had experience working in a Shariah friendly office environment?

2. What do you know about Islamic Practises in an organizations?

3. How do we get to developed our people base on Islamic way and knowledge?

Solutions to gadget free kids

Most brilliant. Tools to occupy our children during family dinner out.

Let's do this instead of gadgets and electronics. Let their mind wander naturally.
I'm so getting this for my kiddo! Awesome ideas friend!

More ideas? Let me share some 10 ideas to get you started.

1. Use recycle papers or A4 writing pads that you get in your seminars, make papers and pen/ pencil/ colors available at all time. ( my son create paper super heroes and sometimes it become 3 dimentional too )

2. Free printables are great! Print some cartoon characters and let them do the coloring part.

3. Go fishing with a stick! Create "fish" out of post-it-notes

4. Board game and Unos!

5. Create a colourful collage out of the magazines, just snip out letters, animals and faces and connect with tapes

6. co-author a book. write down your child's dictated stories on a pre-stapled stack of papers and asks him to supply the illustrations.

7. scheduled a park day every week.

9. Picnic! at the park, playground, waterfall, beach, swimming pools.

10. visit old folks home, orphanages or under privileges homes.

Puan Nurul Asyikin founder of My Ideal Weight is a very passionate person! She is a very genuine and sincere person and inspiring too.

We got to know each other through our network organisation, Rootwommers and from then we get to know more about each other and I am really inspired by her motivation and dedication in making her business a success.

I too am very so privileged to have been given the opportunity to collaborate with her for her recent trip to Istanbul. And I do hope there will be more collaborations to happen in the future.

Berakhir sudah perjalanan saya di Istanbul pada hari ini. Sebuah perjalanan yg membawa saya kepada nostalgia percutian keluarga suatu ketika dulu.
